The lead track (Surface Noize) for this single began in 2009 with an idea to make a classic Jazz number with a Trip-Hop interlude. Some tracks were recorded and then forgotten for a few years. Every now and then, I would come back to this song and record a new thing. Then it would be shelved again. Copy. Paste. Repeat.

This track has recently been revisited for a 17th time (yes, I document each session), and it is finally ready for the public. It goes without saying that I am very upset with how it sounds and despite 15 years passing since starting it, I wish I could tinker with it for another decade and a half.

But here we are.

"Grandpa Seth" began in 2015 with a simple goal: Utilize many loops to create a crazy long song that is inspired by the moment in the film Troll 2 where Grandpa Seth tells Joshua he has 30 seconds to save his family from the non-titular goblins. The moment actually lasts 97 seconds and feels like an hour.

I like the "Dream" part of that song, so I've isolated it as a separate track, "Grandpa Seth's Dream".
